GentleMax Pro Description

The Candela GentleMax Pro combines both the 755nm Alexandrite laser of the GentleLase Pro, and the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser of the GentleYAG pro into a single laser platform. By combining both of these lasers the GentleMax Pro delivers effective results for hair removal, vascular lesions and pigmentation concerns across all skin types, making it one of the most versatile lasers available.

There are a two primary configurations of handpieces available for your consideration, which are outlined below:

DCD Handpieces - These provide cooling using a cryogen gas which is emitted on each pulse of the laser to cool the skin. This is the recommended handpiece for pigmentation and vascular services, as well as hair removal services in more delicate areas such as brazilian and underarms.

ACC Handpieces - These provide cooling via an external system providing a continuous stream of cold air to the client, most commonly the Zimmer. These are more cost effective in high volume practices, or when completing large treatment zones for hair removal.
